What are some recommended adult acne treatments?
I do not have much of a problem with erupted acne on my face. My acne is more of in the pores. Like I can pinch my nose and white pus comes out of almost all of the pores. Same problem on my chin and creases. I am 53. Will blue light treatment help t

Blue light treatments are really best for inflammatory acne. You
basically have sebum (oils) in your pores that can be expressed from
the pore with pressure. This is not the same as acne. I would tell you
to wash your face 2 times per day for 1 minute each time. Use a good
facial wash. I would then recommend to use a retinol
or tretinoin cream as these may benefit you.

We have many treatments for adult acne. We can use oral antibiotics, topical
medications, accutane, light chemical peels and several different lasers.
A pulsed dye laser or Photofacial are two of the lasers that can be used to
treat acne. You also can have Blue and Red light treatment with and without
Levulan. As you can see we have many options. See a Dermatologist so they can
customize a plan for you.
