The particles in Radiesse are particularly prone to causing reactions in the lip tissues and therefore should not be done. They can produce lumps or granulomas which need surgical exicison later. Do not be enamored with the longevity of Radiesse, that is a poor trade off for the potential problems which can occur with it for lip augmentation.

Absolutely do NOT use Radiesse in the lips. It can be used above the
lip but not in the lip. I have had to remove Radiesse from the lips of
multiple women. It will often leave an elevated area in the lip even
after the products is completely gone.
