Basically, Revitalsh is a cosmetic product available over the counter that conditions the lashes to make them appear longer whereas Latisse is a prescription-strength drug that has undergone rigorous clinical trials tobecome FDA approved. This means that when side by side study groups were treated with placebo versus Latisse when the both scientists and study subjects were unaware which category they were assigned to were shown to
have significant lengthening and thickening of their eyelashes.

The answer to this question might have been different several years ago before Revitalash was sued by Allergan for infringing on their patented product. At that time, the lawsuit filed by Allergan caused Revitalash to remove the key active ingredient (which was patented by Allergan the makers of Latisse) from their product. After that time, Revitalash was (and is now) much less effective. Latisse is by far the superior product and because it is priced almost the same as Revitalash, there is no question in our mind which product consumers should reach for - Latisse. It is hands down a superior products with amazing results.
