Medical Conditions and LipoDissolve

LipoDissolve is a non-invasive weight loss procedure that may be employed to get rid of medium sized or small deposits of fat. Even though it is a safer procedure than other liposuction surgeries, there are a few medical conditions that won't allow the application of LipoDissolve.

Diabetes

People with diabetes are not good candidates for LipoDissolve. The presence of high blood sugar may affect the outcome of the procedure and you may not lose as much weight as you would like to.

The LipoDissolve procedure involves the administration of several injections that contain vitamins, enzymes, oils and other natural substances. These may interfere with the glucose in the blood and the fat may not liquefy as it should.

Thyroid Problems

Thyroid problems may also influence the LipoDissolve procedure. A hormonal imbalance can increase the risks of developing complications, as the hormones may alter the effects of the substances that are present in the injections. In addition, the fat may also not be eliminated properly.

Liver Problems

After the fat liquefies, the liver will be the organ that contributes to eliminating it. If the liver does not function properly, the fat may not be eliminated. Typically, the fat cells will be eliminated within a few weeks from the administration of the first injections.

Pregnancy

LipoDissolve is not recommended during pregnancy, so postpone this procedure until after giving birth and after finishing with breastfeeding.

Your surgeon may perform some blood work to determine if there are any problems that may affect the LipoDissolve procedure. Let the surgeon know if you are currently taking any medication.
