Recovery after TriActive

TriActive is a cosmetic treatment that mixes different types of procedures such as laser, suction and massage to sculpt the body and reduce the appearance of cellulite. This procedure may also be used after a liposuction treatment to tighten the skin and improve its texture. The recovery after TriActive is relatively easy and requires little time, but you should know what to expect.

Recovery after TriActive

Because TriActive is a non-invasive procedure that employs a low energy laser, the discomfort and swelling after the procedure will be minimal. You may experience swelling after TriActive, which will be at its worst during the first and second day. The swelling should subside within 3 or 4 days, depending on your healing capacities. Apply ice packs or vinegar soaks on the treated areas to reduce the swelling. The ice packs or compresses should be placed for 30 minutes and then the areas should be left to breathe. After 30 more minutes, you can repeat the ice pack or compress application.

If you feel any pain, you should get some over the counter pain medications. Typically, you should be able to return to your normal activities after each TriActive session. In rare cases, bruising may occur, but should go away within 5 days.

The treatment consists of several sessions up to 15 minutes, and you may require a few maintenance sessions per year. After each session, you may experience the same redness, swelling or pain (in some cases) and you should apply the same treatment to reduce the effects of TriActive.
