Does botox work on dark under eye circles?

I was wondering if Botox or any other procedure would help with dark circles under my eyes. They look really bad, and I really need to address this issue. Thank you.

Dark circles under the eyes can be produced by many problems. Many times they can be resolved with use of fat injections into the area.

I'm sorry but no. Botox is used for wrinkles around the eyes. Dark circles are an accumulation of blood under the skin's surface, and is usually a cultural or hereditary thing. Facial creams can sometimes help, but for the most part they are a permanent situation.

Sorry, but Botox and fillers really should not be used right under the eyes. I would recommend you consult with an ocular plastic surgeon or an opthamologist who does cosmetic procedures.

Botox does not work for this problem. Under eye circles are caused by a loss of fat underneath the eyes. To resolve this issue, you would need to replace the loss of volume with a dermal filler. I prefer either Restylane or Perlane, depending on the patient.

Botox does not really help dark circles under the eyes. It might help a little when it is injected in crows feet. Fillers, like Juvederm, helps with under eyes. Also, fractionated lasers like pro fractional Sciton, are helpful.
