I have psoriasis. What is the best form of treatment for this condition?
I have psoriasis, which has caused scaly patches on my scalp and body. I also have a lot of flaky, dry skin and my nails are very hard and misshaped. What's the best form of treatment?

There are many treatment options for psoriasis, depending on the severity. I would recommend seeing a dermatologist, and you could start off with some topical ointments such as clobetasol. As far as the issue with your nails, this could be an early sign of psoriatic arthritis, which is a common progression of psoriasis. Again, I would recommend a dermatologist as there are treatments available for your nails as well.

You will need a strong medical-grade steroid cream for your patches. The nails are a sign of severe deficiency in different vitamins and a sign of internal inflammation. Consult with a certified dermatologist in your area.
