Which facial filler lasts the longest?

Of the Hyaluronic Acid fillers, Juvederm Volume lasts the longest. There are fillers that are not HA's and contain materials that provoke dermal scarring which last even longer but have more associated risks.

I personally like Juvederm and Evolence the best. We know Juvederm lasts around a year. Evolence has gotten the approval for 1 year but I have only been using it about 8 months. Patients seem to like it a lot. One of it's benefits is that it does not bruise much.It flows very nicely and has minimal bruising. Sometimes you need 2 syringes to get the same filling as Juvederm. Juvederm can definitely bruise. For the most long term filler, I like Artefill. I would prefer to use this on a patient that has had fillers in the past and knows that they like the look. Artefill lasts years. It also requires a 1 month skin test.
