Refirme is a cosmetic treatment that may be used for wrinkles and skin imperfections. Refirme is a simple procedure that involves negligible recovery time and won’t have major side effects. The procedure is non invasive and will not be painful. Refirme may be used on a number of areas that require repair.
Areas of the Body Treated
Refirme is a procedure that employs infrared light and bipolar radio frequency light, and can be used on:
- Saggy skin, as it stimulates the collagen in the skin
- Wrinkled skin, but may only be applied in superficial to moderate wrinkles
- Skin with imperfections such as age spots, scars or discolored skin
Refirme is typically applied on the following areas of the body:
- The face
- Neck
- Hands
- Cleavage
Some patients may also opt for Refirme applied on other areas of the body where wrinkles or scars may be present. The treatment should be applied in several sessions (between 3 and 5, depending on the severity of the skin condition and the response of the patient to the treatment). Each session lasts between 15 and 40 minutes and after the treatment, the skin may be sensitive, so the sun should be avoided.
