Medical Conditions and LATISSE

LATISSE ® is a new treatment and is specially designed to give you fuller, darker lashes. You no longer have to wear fake eyelashes to achieve a full and thick look. LATISSE ® is safe and effective, and easy to use. Just apply the product daily to your eyelashes.

However, if you have any of the following medical conditions, talk to your doctor to see if LATISSE ® is right for you. Some conditions may still allow the use of LATISSE ® , but under close supervision.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or are planning to get pregnant in the near future, then LATISSE ® is not for you. There are side effects that could possibly hurt the unborn child, and if you are nursing can harm the child. It is best to wait until after you deliver your baby and are done nursing before starting LATISSE ® .

Eye Injury

If you have any injury to the eye that includes swelling or infection you should not undergo this procedure, or should be under the supervision of a doctor, just in case. This product causes some slight itching as well as skin darkening in the area the product is applied.

Eye Pressure

If you are taking medicine to treat eye pressure in your eyes or glaucoma, or have a history of pressure in your eyes, talk to your doctor; you may have to be closely supervised to prevent any further pressure build up or other complications.

Eye Surgery

If you are deciding to get eye surgery, you should not use LATISSE ® . It can cause swelling and redness in the area and irritate the incision where you had the surgery. It is recommended that you wait at least 4 months before you start LATISSE ® .

Medications

If you currently are taking any kind of herbal supplements, prescription or non-prescription medicines, you are not a candidate for LATISSE ® . It can interact with your current medications and can cause reactions or unwanted side effects.

Discuss all conditions with your doctor before opting for LATISSE ® .
