I think the most effective treatment is a combination of in office extractions and topical agents to prevent the black heads from forming. These topical agents are by prescription only and therefore you should come in for an evaluation.

The first treatment we would recommend is an exfoliating product like glycolic acid or Retin A. These can be prescription or over the counter. Try your pharmacy first for an over the counter product.
