Can you use Juvederm and Botox while pregnant?

Can you use this during pregnancy or nursing? If not are there any safe alternatives to treat wrinkles?

I do not recommend any of these injectables while pregnant. In both product inserts, they specifically say that these injections should not be done in pregnant or breast feeding patients. These products have not been studied in either category and you will be hard pressed to find any provider who will administer it. Out of pure safety, it is always recommended to wait until the baby is born and you are no longer breastfeeding.

While there have been no studies to show that Botox and Juverderm would be problematic during pregnancy, most if not all practitioners would not inject you for liability reasons. We also do not perform laser treatments on pregnant women. Our suggestion is to wait until your pregnancy and breastfeeding is completed to be safe.
