Will Laser Genesis worsen melasma patches?

It's possible that Laser Genesis can worsen melasma. We stay away from all laser treatments for melisma, and this is one of the reasons. Although some patients can improve temporarily with fractional or Q-switched lasers, the results are temporary and some patients do in fact get worse. We stick to hydroquinone for our patients.
