Fraxel re:store

What is Fraxel re:store?

Fraxel re:store offers laser therapy which treats areas in a similar way as the re:fine laser. Yet re:store treats acne scars and other types of scarring for a deeper and less superficial reach. While this laser type can be used for more superficial treatments, such as skin discoloration and melasma, it also has the ability to treat scars which may run deeper than the epidermal layer. Fraxel re:store is meant to be used on the face, neck, chest, and hands areas. Treating actinic keratoses is another option with this laser.

The Fraxel re:store laser allows for a minimally invasive treatment option which requires reduced healing time and minimal discomfort after the procedure. Because of its high efficacy and ability to treat the skin without causing much damage to outer layers, Fraxel re:store is a preferred laser skin rejuvenation method. For most all skin types, this laser procedures results which are more gradual and so no major changes are seen immediately, which would make the healing time far longer and more uncomfortable. With re:store areas of the skin to be treated are subjected to controlled damage from the laser and other areas are left unaffected. This allows for the body's response to kick in and promotes new collagen formation.
