Laser 360 for Adolescents

Laser 360 is more frequently used as a skin rejuvenation procedure, but may be used also to eliminate hyperpigmented spots and acne. The Laser 360 procedure contains a number of cosmetic treatments that are applied for a period of 60 days. The procedure may be applied in adolescents.

Adolescents and Laser 360 Treatment

Even if adolescents don’t have wrinkles or loose skin, they may have severe acne that can be unaesthetic. However, Laser 360 is a complex treatment that is mostly recommended for patients that need several changes, including skin tightening, wrinkle removal and a softer texture.

Laser 360 can be applied in adolescents that have acne or pigmentation problems only. There may be less complicated, less pricey cosmetic procedures that are more recommended for adolescents that have similar effects on acne as Laser 360.

Laser 360 can reduce acne and eliminate acne scars. Laser 360 employs the IPL and the CoolGlide technology. Laser 360 shouldn’t be applied if the patient is under retinoid medication. Also, adolescents with tanned skin should wait until the tan wears off before getting a Laser 360 treatment.

Ideally, adolescents should have a discussion with the plastic surgeon to determine if Laser 360 is the best treatment option.
