FDA Approval Status for PureLipo

PureLipo does not have FDA clearances or approvals. However, the systems used in the liposuction alternative do pass FDA guidelines. The food and drug administration do not have the ability to regulate actual surgical processes, though they do enforce rules on the equipment, anesthetics and other devices used in such treatments.

PureLipo Objectives

The PureLipo product works by injecting a chemical based anesthetic into the body, which helps break down fatty tissue. Next, the loose tissue is removed through a light suctioning device. This process acts slightly different than other traditional liposuction surgeries where a higher degree of invasiveness takes place.

Safety Information

The instruments and anesthetics used in PureLipo do pass FDA guidelines; patients generally feel safer knowing this information. This liposuction alternative does have the ability to cause major risks, however.

Some patients do not see major results. Other individuals who undergo the PureLipo treatment have adverse reactions to the injectable solution, while others simply feel intense pain for weeks after the surgery concludes.

The Food and Drug Administration does not recommend liposuction surgery or alternatives to non-risk individuals. Patients who choose PureLipo must fully understand the possible risks and will have a better sense of security after consulting with the administering professional.
