How ReFirme treatment is performed

ReFirme is an in-office treatment that doesn’t require anesthesia and takes less than one hour.

Your dermatologist will mark your treatment area with a pen and apply a lubricating gel. The ReFirme hand piece is then passed over your skin. The ReFirme device applies pulses of infrared light and radiofrequency energy (RF) to heat your skin and trigger new collagen growth. You’ll feel a mild warming sensation during treatment.

Recovery and results

There’s no downtime after ReFirme treatment, but you may have some mild redness and swelling that will resolve quickly. Most people will have three to five treatments spaced three to four weeks apart for best results. Since ReFirme triggers natural collagen growth, it can take six to twelve months to see your final results.
