How long after ACL reconstruction (hamstring graft) should I wait before having laser hair removal on my legs? Will it affect the graft at all?

You should wait until your scar is completely healed before starting your first laser hair removal treatment.

As long as there is no darkening of the skin there shouldn't be a problem doing the laser.

Laser hair removal should be safe at any time but to be sure, consult with the physician who performed the reconstruction. Also, be sure to inform the person that will perform the procedure.

You want the scar to be a good bit on its way to being healed. I would recommend at least 3 months after surgery.
