There are a couple different Juvederm fillers and they each vary slightly. The Jevederm Voluma XC is noted as lasting up to 2 years. Some of the others may last 12-18 months. There are other factors that can affect how long a filler can last, well such as; which filler is used, where it was placed, your bodys' natural process of breaking down the filler, and if the area experiences pressures that could break down the filler. Hope this helps, a consultation is always a great way to go, not all fillers are the same and not all fillers are designed to go in the same place.

It depends. it can last up to 8 to 12 months at full correction. that means that you got the full amount that was recommended. for example lets say that it was 4 syringes of juvederm that you need but only got 1, the effects that you see right after post treatment is only going to show till that swelling goes down, so about a month. Is the filler still there? yes it just not see anymore because you really needed a lot more product than what you applied. if you applied lets say 2 syringes of the 4 that was recommended you will visibly see the results last longer, it will feel that it went away after a few months but it did not it is still there. So how to mange juvederm? if you are a person that only needs 1 to 2 possibly 3 syringes you will want to do juvederm yearly. if you are a person that may need up to 4 or more, its best to at least start with 2 or 3 syringes come back in about 4 to 6 weeks and get the rest of the recommended syringes. by splitting up the treatment in 2 it allows the injector to see exactly the best places that the filler needs to be injected. best to come in yearly for maintenance, so if you came on march your next filler appointment should be no longer than next march. you can go in sooner if you want. Remember that juvederm is going to give you a very natural look, if done right people will ask you what are doing because you look amazing and they want to look like you. Juvederm is suppose to make you look younger and fresher and less stressed, this is not a full face lift. although it will give a natural lift to the face.

Effects of Juvederm XC (and Restylane) can last approximately 6 months, sometimes longer.

Effects of Juvederm Plus (and Perlane) have larger particle size, are used for deeper injections, and can last approximately 9-12 months.

Juvederm typically lasts up to 12 months. It does however depend on how one's body metabolizes the product which may shorten the duration to less than 12 months.

The answer to this question is not so simple as it may seem. The first issue is where the product is injected. The body metabolizes Juvederm at different rates with the shortest being in the lips (3-6 months) and the longest being under the eyes (up to 12 months or more). The second issue is how much product is injected. The more product that's injected, the longer it lasts. Best bet is to schedule a consultation with an experienced injector and get into more details about what your goals are. Good luck.

This will depend on location of the Juvederm. In general, Juvederm in the lips and around the mouth will last less than in the cheeks or eye area. This is due to constant muscle movement when eating, talking, laughing, etc. In the lips and around the mouth it will last about 6 months + and in the cheeks 6-12 months.
