Which Dermal Filler is generally better for the nasal labia folds?

I'm looking at having the nasal labia folds area done but have been told by so many different surgeons about different dermal fillers. What's best and why?

There are many dermal fillers on the market that I typically use for the nasal labial folds (smile lines) and this would depend on the depth of the folds and if there are other underlying factors such as a drop in the cheek area. In our office we use a variety of fillers including Restylane, Juvederm and Radiesse and it would all depend on your consultation.

It depends on how deep the nasolabial folds are. For deeper folds, I like to use Radiesse. Sometimes I will layer another filler such as Juvederm over the Radiesse to enhance the smoothness in the folds. For milder folds, I like to use Juvederm.

We use Restylane, Perlane and Radiesse in this area. The choice of product sometimes depends on what your practitioner is comfortable with but can also be dependent on duration and cost. Generally Radiesse
lasts longer but may also be more expensive.
