Captique
Captique is a new, non-animal-sourced hyaluronic acid,
because of that, it is said that no testing is required and it can be administered
during the initial visit.
One of the major benefits of Captique is the brief
"response potential". Other fillers have been known to have a higher incidence of
reaction in the form of swelling. Captique has been on the lower "response potentials"
and many patients find that swelling dissipates in a matter of a few hours, if it
happens at all.
Captique is a clear gel containing a purified form
of hyaluronic acid, which adds volume that was once lost during the aging process
by temporarily smoothing out facial lines and wrinkles.
Captique is injected under the skin's surface in
order to temporarily correct wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring
sugar that is found in the human body - specifically in the skin, cartilage,
joints and the eye. In skin tissue, hyaluronic acid fills the space between
collagen and elastin fibers. Hyaluronic acid in skin delivers nutrients, hydrates
the skin by holding in water, and acts as a cushioning agent.
Captique gel is a sterile, clear, colorless dermal
(skin) filler gel implant made of chemically modified hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic
acid is a naturally occurring substance found in the fluids surrounding cells and
tissues. It is chemically, physically and biologically similar in the tissues of
all species. Captique gel is made from highly purified natural hyaluronic acid that
is gradually absorbed by your body through natural mechanisms.
