Are the swelling and lumps side effects of Dermal Fillers and will this go away?

I had esthelis done 3 days ago, my face looks horrible and bruised, and there is lumps. None of the wrinkles are gone or the hollowness under the eyes. Will it go away and settle?

Esthelis looks like a hyaluronic acid filler that seems to be similar to Restylane, Juvederm and Perlane (it is not approved in the US). While lumps and bruises are a potential side effect of these types of injection treatments, we would be more concerned about the lumps. These can be more serious generally than the bruises so you should visit your
injector to see what can be done about them. Your practitioner should be able to dissolve the lumps with an enzyme called hyaluronidase (Vitrase) if necessary. The bruising normally goes away after several days to several weeks depending on severity but can also be reversed fairly quickly with pulsed dye lasers.

I am not familiar with "esthelis" but with typical dermal fillers like Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, any normal swelling and bruising should resolve. It not uncommon for patients to look somewhat swollen and bruised. However, I am concerned about the lumps which could signify that the filler was not properly injected or not smoothed out manually. I would either speak to your injector or go to another provider sooner than later because you might be able to correct it and you don't want it to settle lumpy.
