Volumizers such as dermal fillers or Sculptra which is used for global volumization of the face can restore the fullness to your face which you may have lost from age or weight loss or just being thin.

Avoid fat transfer- the results can be unpredictable. Fillers are a good option- consider Radiesse if there has been significant volume loss. Be very sure you are going to an experienced injector and have been shown before and after photos of THEIR CLIENTS (not stock photos from the filer company....)- especially clients with similar volume loss to yours. I recommend the use of Sculptra. It causes your own collagen to be made and it lasts at least 2 years and looks very natural.

It depends on what your individual needs are at this time. If it is just the nasolabial lines you could do Juvederm injections that last about 1 year. If your cheeks are hollow you could benefit from Sculptra injections that last several years. You can also use the Sculptra in the nasolabial lines. This is where a consult is needed to individualize your treatment plan.

Fillers were created to fill in areas of volume loss. You meet the need for
which they exist. Whether due to volume loss due to illness or age, fillers
can increase facial volume.

You are on the right track. With the weight loss the only options you have are to put volume back in. The only concern I have for you is if you lost weight due to a motor vehicle accident it may not be permanent weight loss. If the weight loss will not be permanent then you will want to avoid fat transfer. If you do fat transfer and then you gain weight you may look puffy. I would recommend fillers as you best choice at this time.

It's difficult to answer without actually examining you, but both of the options you mention are valid. Other options you may not have considered are implants (cheek or chin) or a face-lift. Fat transfer is a good option, but often needs to be repeated a few times before you get the look you want. Of course, dermal fillers have to be repeated at least annually to maintain the look, but also should give an excellent result.

Fillers last about a year and are usually better than fat transfer...Titan Laser actually titans skin...helps with sagging and laxity.

Dermal fillers and fat transfers are both options. While fat transfer
tends to have a longer life, it is also much trickier because adding
volume in this way is very technique dependent and can result in
asymmetry (uneven filling from side to side). Just make sure that if
you go with fat transfer that you focus on experience and not price.
Dermal filler options include Restylane, Juvederm, Perlane, Radiesse and
more. The choice will depend on area of the face to be injected, cost
and duration.
